Mintz Rsponds to Ono-Havadtoy Marriage Rumors

In his Lennon bio, Goldman claims to have had sources who alleged that Yoko Ono married her longtime companion Sam Havadtoy in Havadtoy's native land of Hungary in 1981.

Nicolette Jones of the Sunday Times of London asked Mintz for his response to the rumor. Mintz replied that it was "too bizarre to contemplate."

Notice that Mintz does not answer the question.

The Ono-Havadtoy relationship was bizarre alright (he was gay while she was heterosexual), but that has nothing to do with the question of whether they were married.
